Christmas Camp 2007/12/28

Hi all Christmas Camp families, For the Nancy Greene Christmas Camp this Saturday & Sunday, Dec 29th & 30th, please have your child at the Big White Racer club cabin no later than 8:50 AM. The club cabin is located at the east end of the old upper ridge parking lot, beside the Mountain Medical Centre (patrol hut) and Snow Ghost lift. We will meet on the lower side of the cabin. Please allow yourself extra time to park/drop off due to the lack of parking in the Snow Pines overflow lot. 8:50 AM – Gather at lower side of club cabin. 9:00 AM – Meet Head Coach Clark Gunoff & coaches, bib assignment, group assignment followed by a warm up. 9:15 (approx) to 11:30 – On snow activities. 11:30 to12:30 - Lunch. Your child is welcome to have lunch in the club cabin, or be picked up by the parents. If packing a lunch for your child, lunches may be left in the club cabin. Please keep lunches to the healthy variety and lots of water. Also, do not leave your child unattended over lunch to purchase food from the Ridge cafeteria. 12:30 to 3:00 - On snow activities. 3:00 – End of day, child pick up. All ACA waivers must be completed prior to the start of this program. If you have not filled out this waiver online at bcalpine.com, please do so (per previous emails). If you cannot get this completed, there will be hard copies on hand to fill out Saturday morning. Camp fees of $75 are due prior to the start of the camp, payable to the Kelowna Ski Club. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Please make sure they have warm mitts/gloves, helmets & goggles, hand warmers, neck tubes and/or face protection, and dry socks.
